Trust me when I say I have the appetite of a sumo wrestler. Lol. I’m just glad my bolism is catching up (kinda).
More muscle, higher energy expenditure, and higher training volume = more calories burned = more food your body needs to maintain its weight.
So it makes sense that over time, the more muscle I gain, the more calories I will need to consume. My training volume right now is so high I’m gonna die (lol jk but for real), and my additional energy expenditure is average. I spend most of my day sitting at a desk, but I am still moving more than I will be in a few weeks when I’m cramming for finals. Yah feel? My calorie intake is are always as high as it is now, but I’m definitely “listening to my body” and eating more than usual.
