I know what you're thinking...
'That dirty fucker hasn't changed his underwear in 4 months!!!' Relax, alright... I got new jocks.
Hilarious that I considered myself fat on the left pic. To some this may look like a disaster but I'm very happy with the progress here. The last 16 week period consisted of a 4 week minicut, 2 week maintenance and 10 week mass phase. This was highly productive, and I intend to simply repeat this process for the coming few months until I'm a much bigger me.
This is training and progression on a basic, simple level, and I love that. You look at anybody who got remotely big and strong and jacked for the last 80 years and they all pretty much did the same thing.
They lifted a lot of weight regularly, and ate a lot of food, and did a whole lot more of those two things than they did anything else. That's it. No, really. No stressing over glutamine or aminos. I didn't even use the Google for that.
When they wanted to lose fat, they didn't worry about Stevia or apple cider vinegar or L-Carnitine. They just stopped eating as much food, probably did a little extra cardio to get in shape, and did those two things more than they did anything else.
This is something I constantly hammer home to myself, when I feel like I'm getting drowned in the over-analysing nit-picking world of the fitness community today. - Lift more weight for more reps over time. - Eat quality food, and stop debating what quality means. - Eat more to gain, less to lose. - Do some cardio. - Buy new jocks.
Time to minicut.
