// NYC has been pretty spectacular so far. so good I feel like we could move here (although we probably won't; I'm such a California kid). we've wandered fifth avenue & appreciated the lights, we've see two excellent broadway productions that made us laugh & laugh & laugh, we've eaten the best pizza of my life (razza, where we ordered an extra pie at the end of the meal because it was so good we needed more), & had (safe) raw cookie dough at a cute shop with a pink neon sign. we've walked the high line in the snow, sipped decadent hot chocolate at the chelsea market, watched a big line collect for a hip pop up shop, & drank tumeric lattes at a hipster cafe in lower manhattan. yes yes yes to this rad city. ✨
I can see it, the inescapable agony that you try to hide when you are surrounded with people. When you move forward in a rush to somewhere only you know, when you grip your thickest layer of clothing. I can see it, in the pretended hustle, in your glance, your steps, the way you breath and softly smile.
