Iceland Day 5: Golden Circle. The sunsets in Iceland are incredible. During the winter months the sun never fully rises and constantly stays just above the horizon. From 9am to 4pm, the only hours of daylight, you experience something that photographers call the, “Golden Hour,” where the sun isn’t as harsh. It’s the idea to time take photos for some. Normally it doesn’t last too long and you’re working against the clock. Here it’s a bit different. On another note, I went to Gullfoss, Geysir, and Þingvellir. Right now, I’m enjoying some coffee from inside my hotel room (it’s 9 degrees out) as I watch and photograph the Auroras that are super active tonight!
