Remember why you started.
It will not always be easy. Sometimes life will get in the way. You will be challenged, obstacles will get in your way and sometimes it will all seem like too much.
I've been a bit MIA the past couple weeks as I've been smashed with work, study and training. Unfortunately, something's got to give and for me it has been sleep in order to stay on top of everything else. Less sleep means I've been tired, my energy is lower and I've been feeling hungrier as my body needs more energy to keep my going. Training has been harder and, for the first time in months, I've started questioning the early morning sessions before work. I've wanted to stay in bed, to skip my cardio and not go to the gym and I've wondered 'whats the point' quite a few times this week.
It's in those moments that I take a step back and remind myself why I started, why I wake up early every morning to train, why I'm still doing my cardio, why I still macro all of my meals and weigh all of my food. Because of the way it makes me feel and because I have a dream that I want to achieve.
It will take time and it definitely has not been easy this week. But I'm keeping that WBFF pro card in mind and I'm picturing that strong, fit, healthy girl who loves who she is and is proud of the body she worked for and that keeps me grinding everyday. It isn't easy - but it's worth it.
