3️⃣ years ago if you would have asked me to take a selfie/picture with you, I would have tried my best to get the very best angle while hiding any type of blemish or pimple that I had at the time. Or I’d prob tell you to throw a filter on there too, so i could try and hide all my flaws..
• To be completely honest I was embarrassed and super self conscience. Growing up I was lucky enough not to have to deal with acne or blemishes. But fast forward to college and all of the processed food and drinking... my skin was HATING my lifestyle. My face felt like it couldn’t breath!! I finally decided enough was enough and something had to change. ➡️ I changed my diet, and took out all the processed food.
➡️ I tried to do 20-30 min of continuous cardio/movement (outside of Softball practices/weights/conditioning) to make sure I was sweating out any toxins.
➡️ Most importantly I began a daily and weekly face cleansing routine! •
-My face is no longer broke out all of the time.
- I’m not hiding behind the camera or adding filters to every pic.
- I smile more.
- And I’m a lot less stressed!
I realize for some this problem can be more genetic and may require more in depth precautions and steps. But for a lot of people out there, maybe you just need to change 1 or 2 steps in your daily routine to enjoy happy, healthy skin!
