Dinner at Sushi Masuda (rated 2⭐️ Michelin): [swipe left] Mackeral (Saba), Squid (Ika), Red Snapper (Tai), Tuna (Maguro), Fatty Tuna (Chutoro), Baby Squids, Other Sashimi, Monkfish Liver (Ankimo), Bouze (Ebodai), Gizzard Shad (Kohada), Surf Clam (Akagai), Sea Urchin (Uni), Sea Eel (Anago), Cooked Egg (Tamago). This is a really late post as I have been very busy with life lately. But it's never too late to post a food pic from the past! This is still from my Japan trip and still have a few backlogged photos. I enjoyed eating at this 2⭐️ Michelin sushi bar, but unfortunately, it was not as tasty and good as Nakamura. I enjoyed the overall experience so much more at Nakamura, which is a 1⭐️ Michelin. I was kind of disappointed to a certain degree that I paid more for less food and courses. I was hoping that it would be similar in quantity but I would say that the quality was pretty similar. Nakamura felt like more of an authentic experience while Masuda was more for hungry people that wanted to eat and leave quickly. I only got to dine in for an hour while Nakamura gave us two hours. I would absolutely return to Nakamura in the future because of the reasons above. I paid $75 more for this dinner, so just beware that they can be pretty similar in quality but one might have more of a better overall experience in dining. Don't miss out on Michelin rated sushi though! It's worth it!
I rate it as a 9/10.
