2/2 👉🏽 [cont...] 🙌🏽🔥• I find it cool how the word 'trust' is so closely related to the words 'faith' and 'truth'. Two concepts that are only understood if lived from the inside out • It's almost as if trust is also loved this way.
• Trust is not a need that others must satisfy, or something that we demand from our leaders, bosses, peers, families or friends. Ever heard of "Trust is like glass, once it's broken it can never be put back together the same"? • This statement sums up our warped perception that trust is some sort of fragile thing that we use to handcuff those we apparently love 👮.
• But what if trust was meant to be more like a gift 🎁 • Gifts are the poison to self-gratification! What if, regardless of people's actions or beliefs, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and trusted them anyways? Because, since we are not trying to protect ourselves, their reaction cannot hurt us? 🤔.
• Just thinking or loud, but I think this way, there would be a lot less offended people and a whole lot more selfless love towards eachother ❤️ Hmm #morningthoughts
